you're so cool

Heres a quick card I made using the August Simon Says Stamp card kit. My oldest son is going to a birthday pool party so I thought this was the perfect fit!!!



Was a pretty simple card to put together. I stamped the images on the water colour paper and used distress inks mixed with water to to colour in the images. I decided to leave a gap in the paper and white heat embossed the sentiment and under it stamped happy birthday. Took me a few tries on the placement of the summer snacks but I think it works!!

Now on to stretch your stamps day 2 homework!!

    Lovely card. I have the same kit, but haven't had the time to play with it--but your card is great and now I feel I have to get started with it! Maybe when the Stretch Your Stamps class is over...
