Heres another one I did also using the stamps as a designer type paper! This one was super quick to produce! I made a few colours but these 2 matched the new sequin mix from the release!!!

Kennedy Grace February blog hop

Good morning crafty friends and welcome to the Kennedy Grace February blog hop! We are so happy you joined us for this special event!!

Our newest release is live and now available to purchase in store!

Heres What I've created for you today!

My first card I wanted to do something a little different for you. I took a piece of cardstock and die cut the butterflies out of it. Then took put it on top the card base and traced around so I knew the size of the butterflies. Once I had that done I took some sookwang tape and put it overtop the area I had traced. And one by one added the sequins to their designated areas! I really love the fun loving nature of this card! And just another way to use those sequins!!!

My second card for you today is a technique out of Jennifer McGuires book! The card she made truly inspired me and I had to try it out (click here for her tutorial!)

dad

Hey everyone! Hope you're doing great today!! So I'm going to start off by saying I know its no where near fathers day, and yes my card is fathers day related!! Never to early to start right? Well my reasoning for todays card is for an upcoming class I'm doing at the local scrap store! Had some ladies ask for more masculine cards!

I knew right away with the request for the card type that I needed to pull out Wplus9 So 80s set. For me it screams masculine (even tho I've made feminine cards with it as well!) I'm also using some wplus9 ink and to fill in the area more I did some generation stamping. I have this dad die from lil inkers and I love it! Love how the 'a' is connected! Just perfect. added the sentiment underneath (also lil inkers mom and dad sentiment) and called this card done! Its a super easy one to make! Love mostly one layer cards! I won't lie tho, the placement of stuff did take me a while (thus the generation stamping)

Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful day!!!

Love you

Ok. I know most of you know this already...but the Misti is seriously my favourite. It made todays card super easy to do!!

For this card I decided to do some generational stamping. I had originally done this card in red using simon says stamp lipstick red ink which worked beautifully. (this is one of those techniques you need to test out your inks cause some work better then others). For this card however I needed up using Stampin Up! calypso coral to work with his lovely batch of sequins from Kennedy Grace Creations! I stamped the love 4 times on the card front moving it up a half an inch each time I stamped to give the gradient look! So quick and easy for some extra texture to the card. Added the you in black in then cut a black strip of paper and white heat embossed on it. Finished it up by adding this fabulous sequin mix!!

I really encourage you to try this out with some of your inks you have! I just love the finished product!!

Good Morning Crafty Friends and welcome to the very first Kennedy Grace Creations Blog Hop!! We are so happy you have stopped by and joined us for this very special event!!! Our newest release is now live and available for purchase!

Heres what I've created for you today!!

I had so much fun making this shaker card using some new Papertrey ink goodies I got a while back!! That heart die I so have a crush on!! Anyway I decided to do a see through window shaker card for you. And I will admit, I find it a much easier kind of shaker card to make then adding all that foam tape. And wow does it showcases those shaker bits & things or what?? I seriously can't get enough of this mix! Its so soft and subtle but works so well with the rich distress colours I used today!! I enjoyed it so much I had to make another card for you!

For this one I used all the same distress ink colours dies stamps you name it all the same but a completely different look all together!!! For anyone who missed some of the other cards I made using other mixes head on over to my Facebook page or Instagram account and you can see them there!!

We will be giving away a prize package to one lucky winner.

kindness

Just love the simplicity of this card! I made it for my upcoming glass this month I'm doing and it was also in all my teacher gift pkgs…

I ended up doing a little masking for this card when I added the detailed part of the butterfly…you can see I had just stamped the peach colour right over the purple, but for the detailed part I had cut out the top wing of the smaller butterfly and placed it on then stamped the details on the purple one!  I also used ombre inks for this card. Just another great way how versatile they are! Having the 3 colours in one!! Added the sentiment and of course a little wink of stella on the butterfly details and called it good!!

Autumn leaves birthday

Happy New Years everyone!! The company has gone the tree is down and we are getting back into routine here!! So I thought it was time to post my first card of the new year!! This card I've made for an upcoming class at the local scrap store!!

Wanted to make a card using those fabulous Autumn leaves from wplus9. Also wanted some bright bold colours so I pulled out the Ranger dye ink pads (caribbean coast and lily pad) ! I wanted a bigger sentiment once all the leaves were stamped so I pulled out strictly sentiments 5 to do the job! Love how vibrant it turned out!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

distress ink merry christmas

Well I'm back to day with a few spare moments and a card!! Pretty good combo if you ask me (or anyone who's home with young kids I'm sure)

When I started this card all I know is that I wanted to use these 3 colours (cracked pistachio, peacock feathers and twisted citron) All I can say is I fell in love and made more. For this card I used the acetate technique to get the colour on then added some colour splatters. By far my favourite look! I also tried direct paint onto water colour paper and and actual ink blending. They all have their own unique look but I really do just love this one! A little messy with lots of texture.

Before I did any of the water colouring I first heat embossed the merry in white so it would resist the ink! Once i got the card how I wanted it (and it was dry) I added the christmas. Threw on some snowflakes I had on my table and of course some pretty pink posh goodness. After it was all said and done felt like something was missing so I added a small strip of silver paper adhered it to the card front and there you have it!!

Thanks all for today! Hope you enjoyed!

merry wishes

Another card for you today!!! And I got to say I'm sooo in love with the Simon Says Stamp Jumbo stripes set! It is so fun and versatile!

I just did a "simple" plaid background here using my most fav dye inks from Wplus9 (glala red, green leaf and warm wool). I had originally thought after I had die cut out the deer that I wanted to use a silver paper in behind but the place was just so simple and eye catching that I left it as was!!

To finish off the card I then die cut 3 merry's out adhered them all together and then stamped wishes under neath!! I plan on making some more of this card using some other colours from my pallet I think! I just love the boldness of it!

Thanks so much for stopping by today! Hope you enjoyed todays card!!
