Its been a while since I've taken part in a challenge so I went on over to ColourQ and went with it!!! Pulled out my new Wplus9 set and had some fun!!!! Decided that i wanted to make the circle in the middle of the wreath instead of using the wreath die, just to give it some depth!!  It was an interesting colour combo to work with but I like how it turned out!!!

Ho! Ho! Ho!

I know that deer are all the rage this year…but I haven't been 100% sold on it all yet. I did however make this card for a friend of mine…we have this on going joke about it and are constantly sending pins of deer cards (among other deer things)  to each other!

A few months ago she made me a card with this deer on the inside and out side of a card…So I pealed this one off from the inside and decided to reuse it and send it back to her!  I do actually like this card! I also used a lot of things from the Simon Says Stamp exclusive card kit to keep it fun!

Keep calm and sip on!

I was given a challenge by a friend of  mine who just started selling Steeped Tea. She was looking for some thank you cards to give out to hostesses after having a party, and her slogan was "keep calm and drink tea". She asked if I could find something like that to use. I searched the web and came across this lovely set from Fresh Squeezed Stamps. I'm personally a sucker for anything coffee related as it is, but having a real excuse to order made it so much better!!! 

My goal was to keep the card simple but also wanted to give her a a couple options…I loved the simplicity of this design so I stuck with it!!! Hope she enjoys them as much as I did making them!!

Was finally able to get to my craft room today…Used my new Simon Says monthly card kit along with this weeks Clean and Simple sketch! I decided to take a break from Christmas cards today…as much as I love making them it sure was a nice change of pace!!!

2013 holiday bundle

Oh how I wish I could have photographed this card better to show you how sparkly it really is!!! This is one of the cards from this years annual holiday bundle!! So simple but I fell in love!!!!

This second card I added some sparkle to the middle of the snowflakes (not shown in picture) wanted to keep the sparkly theme going!!

This is the third card for the holiday bundle (sorry for the bad pic again)…but the snowflakes are embossed and sparkly!!!

FTL 264 Very Merry!

Here is my creation for this past Fridays Clean and Simple sketch! I was apparently in a really glittery mood...had just gotten a bunch of things in the mail that day and couldn't wait to play!!!

A while ago while I was reading the Paper Crafts Connection blog...Saw the card and knew I had to make it! So I hit up Michaels and was able to find the embellishments (there was only 3 pkgs left...grabbed them all!) and created this!!!!

Was so grateful for some inspiration that day! Made this and a bunch of other cards too!!

I was looking around on the Simon Says Stamps page looking for some items and saw they have monthly card kits., sure I've noticed them before but I fell in love with everything that came in the October 2013 one! I continued looking through past kids and found that there wasn't one I didn't like. So I bit the bullet and signed up! So here is the first card I created with the October kit!!

A friend and I both decided to sign up for the kits so we could do projects together...our rule was  making sure we use the embellishments that come with the kit...There are more than what you see here but I did use them!

I pulled out SU summer starfruit to see if there was any way I could make it look nice. Its alright just not a favourite to say the least!! I was able to come up with this card using the CAS(E) this Sketch challenge from this week. And I must say...it almost makes me want to order a whole package of the colour and make more holiday cards with it!!!
