I love the paper that came in this months Simon Says Card Kit!!! This woodgrain one is so pretty and I knew it needs some hearts!!!! Another quick easy card just in time for valentines day!

I was trying to come up with a card that was valentiney, but also not so lovey dovey valentiney….here is what I came up with! 

I LOVE the paint swooshes…Could use them all day long!!!! This card was super easy to make. White embossed the words then add the paint stamp overtop…added some sequins a heart and called er good!!!

I've been working on a bunch of valentines cards as of late…sure many of you out there are!! And when I got my kit from Simon Says Stamp I knew that I had to pair it with eye glasses!!!

After the week almost coming to a close I was finally able to put together a card for this weeks Clean and Simple sketch. 

Here are a couple of variations I made for it…

The first card I needed some colour inspiration and came across Color Throwdown, haven't done this challenge before and thought it would be a good way to start the new year!! And the second card I realized I had bought the purple paper a couple months ago and hadn't opened it yet…a good excuse for both creations I think!!

Happy New Year everyone!!! Hope you all had a wonderful holiday season!!

So for the past couple of years in January I've done a card a day series…just to keep me busy doing something after the hussel and bussel of the holiday season! 

I thought I would start the new year off right by doing a card challenge from Retro Sketches! For this card I pulled out some SU washi tape, then drew the cut lines on the back of the paper to give it the sunbeam shape (don't have a fancy die for that…yet…). And if I'm being honest it did take me a while to to put the puzzle pieces back together again! :) 

I love the sunny nature of the card! Was a fun one to make!!!
